Alliance For Progress Charter School

YMCA Aftercare Program (SACC School Aged Child Care)

Alliance for Progress Charter School has an ongoing partnership with Philadelphia Freedom Valley YMCA-Columbia North Branch.  The YMCA provides a high–quality, affordable and enriching after-school program in a safe environment.

This program is offered at AFPCS Lower School for students grades K—8 and its hours of operation are from 7:30am to 8am & 3pm to 6pm, Monday—Friday.  Care is also available for early dismissals, days off and holiday breaks.  The after school program provides students with a well rounded learning experience with a focus on fun, friends, and creativity through supervised activities.  Activities include homework assistance, enrichment and interest-driven activities, gym/gross-motor movement time, arts & crafts, and group games.  The students also receive a nutritional snack.  The YMCA is dedicated to building strong students and communities through the SACC After School Program.

Please contact Mary Carpenter, YMCA Advanced Family Services Director at (215) 235-6440 ext. 1706 or mary.carpenter@philaymca.org for further information.

All participants must have a current Columbia North YMCA full privilege or program membership.
